2nd Annual Gaiter Walk

On September 18th 2010, students from Bishops University gathered on campus for the 2nd annual Gaiter Walk. Participants, donors and sponsors helped to raise more than 6,000$ for the Tony Proudfoot Fund! Congratulations to the student organizers for another successful Walk!

Walkers for TEAM PROUDFOOT attended the 10th annual Walk for ALS on September 26th 2010 at Maisonneuve Park. Thanks to the walk team' fundraising efforts and the support from generous donors, the event was able to raise more than 50 000$ for the Tony Proudfoot fund!

Thanks to the many supporters of Mr. Proudfoot who joined players of the Alouettes and Vincent & Allana Damphousse in the annual Walk for ALS.

All-Star Sports & Entertainment Cocktail

Tackling ALS, the first annual All-Star Cocktail in support of the Tony Proudfoot fund was a night of fun and entertainment for fans and celebrities alike.

Co-chaired by former Montreal Alouettes player Tony Proudfoot and Larry Smith, also of the Alouettes, the June 13th fundraiser held at the Just For Laughs Museum welcomed celebrities such as Aaron Rand, Allana Damphousse, Bill Stoneman, Bruno Heppell, Charlie Lea, Claude Raymond, Denis Boucher, Derek Aucoin, Jim Fanning, Marc Griffin, Pierre Vercheval, Randy Tieman, Rob Martier, Steve Patterson, Steve Rogers, Stéphane Fiset, Sugar Sammy, Tony Proudfoot, Vincent Damphousse, Warren Cromartie, Zack Werner, Ben Cahoon, Brian Chiu, Anwar Stewart, Rick Moffat, Rodger Brulotte, Vincent Lecavalier, and Yvon Lambert.

The evening included a live and silent auction, and also the debut screening of the short promotional video for the ALS Society. Joey Elias performed a laugh out loud comedy set, and both Larry Smith and Tony Proudfoot addressed the crowd of 400 with heartfelt messages of thanks.

The cocktail, which raised $90,000 for ALS, was an overwhelming success and an excellent edition to the roster of events in support of the Tony Proudfoot Fund.
